When I first received this mat, I thought it was adorable and placed it by my washer/dryer to prevent skidding.

That worked well until some water sloshed onto the mat and entire patches disintegrated. Now I have a mostly red mat with scalpy looking bare patches.

If you get this mat, I'd recommend keeping it away from water.
